Little Johnny attended a horse auction with his father．

His father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horses‘ legs, rump and chest．

Johnny asked, "Pop,why are you doing that?"

"Because I‘m thinking of buying these horses."

The kid looked worried, "Then I think we’d better hurry home right away!"

"Why?" his father asked．

"Because the salesman stopped by yesterday, and I think he wants to buy Mom!"



어린 조니는 아빠를 따라 말 경매장으로 갔다．

아빠는 이 말 저 말로 옮겨가면서 다리를 더듬어 올라가서 궁둥이와 가슴을 만져 보곤 하는 것이었다．

"아빠, 왜 그러는 거야?"하고 조니가 물었다．

"말을 살 사려고 그런다."

녀석의 표정은 불안해졌다．

"그럼 얼른 집에 가봐야 해!"

"어째서?"하고 아버지가 물었다．

"어제 외판원이 다녀갔는데 그 사람 엄마를 사가려는 건가봐!"
